Water Main Breaks

With the supposed heat
Around up in the air
The construction men thought it would be fun
Ending the day early
Ridiculously destroying

Multiple chances at tests
And the students rejoiced faces
In laughter for the day
Nearing its end

Before the usual
Retiring two thirty
Enough is enough
As everyone says in their life
Kindly asking for a break isn’t so much.
